In this weekend immersion we will dive into spiritual healing with sacred plants and sound which is based on the cosmology of the Santo Daime tradition.
It’s an amazing way to recalibrate and re- regulate our nervous systems and ourselves. This all women's container is a safe and secure space held by experienced facilitators with decades of experience.
This is a branch of the work of the Santo Daime which is based in Healing, prayer, music, mediumship and sacred plants of power. The Santo Daime tradition that comes from the western amazon in Brazil and is a church, spiritual school and Space for connection to nature, our spiritual connection to nature and spiritual healing.

Jana has been working within the healing arts for almost 30 years. She has worked very closely with her mentors over the past 25 years in the lineage of the Santo Daime, Umbandaime and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. She has been leading in facilitating spiritual works with plant medicine for the past 10 years within her spiritual community of Kauai. Some of her teachers include Madrinha Rita Gregorio de melo (Santo Daime)Madrinha Júlia ( Santo Daime) Mãe Baixinha (Umbanda) Maria Alice (Umbandaime), mother Cedella Marley booker ( mother of Bob Marley/ Rastafari), Aunty Margaret Machado and Nerita Machado ( Hawaiian Lomi Lomi)
Ialorixá Mãe Ana de Xangô
Ialorixá Mãe Ana de Xangô was born into the traditions of Umbanda and Candomblé in the Northwest of Brazil, and today she is a Mother of Saint in both of these traditions. She has been a clairvoyant, incorporation medium since the age of seven years old. She is a member of the leadership council of the spiritual center Tenda Espirita Mirim, one of the oldest centers of Umbanda in Brazil. She has studied Kardecism for over 50 years and has been a member of the Santo Daime for 40 years. Mãe Ana holds weekly spiritual works and monthly Giras. She gives classes and workshops about spirituality sharing her rich life-long experience in the traditions of Umbanda, Candomblé and Spiritism.
Judea Christine
Judea is medium, intuitive energy healer, and sound therapist living on the island of Kauai. She has been working with and continuously deepening her study of the healing power of sound for nearly 20 years. Much of her intuitive work is focused around addressing pathways of flow in the soul matrix and helping those who work with her to dispel, transform, move, and integrate energies for deeper healing. She has had a talent for playing and composing music since childhood, and shares insights and messages from spirit through song. Her sound journeys create a supportive container for exploring aspects of self with non-judgment, compassion, and clarity, and gently carry one back home to their grounded center, with a new found sense of completion, alignment, wisdom, and wellbeing.
The retreat will be held in the Fall Brook area of San Diego.

COMMUNAL SLEEPING & CAMPING ON SITE INCLUDED
For those who do not wish to sleep in communal quarters or camp, and live close by, or want to book accommodations outside of the venue, you are welcome to leave in the evening hours.
Sleeping mat, pillow, sheets, and blankets are provided for those sleeping on site.

FRIDAY JUNE 13

Venue opens to guests so they may set up their campsites and get situated before orientation. Women will be sleeping in the main house and men will be in the yurt. Couples and singles have an option of camping outside though you will need to bring your own provisions. All are welcome to get a rental

Dinner (We provide nourishing vegetarian meals throughout the retreat, though bringing snacks is encouraged.)

We will start our journey with an introduction into plant medicines, opening and working with our spiritual guides and plant and flower essences.
We will open our prayer for our own personal and collective healing and healing the bonds as friends, and allies on our spiritual journey.
The evening is open to relax and rest up for the sunrise work the following day.
SATURDAY JUNE 14

We will open our ceremony in the morning, invoking the cleansing power of water. Embracing the force of mother Iemanja, the queen of the sea. We call this work the work of Madrugada - sunrise ceremony.

SUNDAY JUNE 15

Ceremony begins. We will be singing some songs and invocations of the elder women of the Santo Daime, Umbanda and other traditions. We will also be Opening ourselves to receive from others and healing and song and other gifts.

Throughout the weekend there will be open for those who want to book private sessions with Ana Maria, though most appointments will likely be offered on Monday.
Saturday and Sundays rituals will be with sacred plant medicines, Santo Daime (ayahuasca), Sananga and Rapè however sometimes during the weekend we will explore working with them homeopathically so we can better tune in to our own sensitivities and recieve messages from our spiritual guides and each other.
This is not the traditional way that we usually work in our lineage. However, we are working with tradition as a foundation in order for us to explore in a more relaxed manner the spaces in our self which need nurturance and healing.

Please take note that our application process has changed:
~ There is no deposit required to apply, but please only apply only if you intend on attending upon acceptance.
~ If you are new to working with us, you will need to fill out a health questionnaire to determine your eligibility to attend. If you have worked with us in the past, but are taking any new medications or have any new health concerns please resubmit the health questionnaire for review. If you have already attended a past event and there is no new information to provide you do not need to fill out this form.
~ Please know that certain MAOI's (Prnate, Nardil etc) and SSRI's (Prozac, Zoloft etc) as well as other medications need to be weaned off of at least 30 days before an after ceremony. In some cases you will need approval from your doctor, and you yourself will need to be committed to cleaning your system from these substances. It is important to disclose this information for your safety. If you are on any concerning medications there will be a consultation with our ceremony leader to formulate a plan so you will be able to attend. Please only apply if you are ready to abstain these type of medications for this period of time. All other medications will be carefully checked on to be sure it is safe to be on with plant medicines.
~ Upon acceptance to attend you will be sent 2 waiver forms to electronically sign. Every attendee must sign both documents for each event, regardless if they have been signed before. This is to insure that all attendees are well informed on our policies and updates to those policies.
~ After the documents are signed you will be sent a payment link to secure your seat.
